Angie Baxter's diary is the journal of a Senior Developer working in the IT department of a large UK company. The banes of her life are dithering user departments and her senior colleagues Carl and Denny, C++ programmers with attitude (the attitude being "anything less than C++ is beneath us, so make the coffees, Ange!").
Angie works her way up the ladder and gets around in the process. The series sees her move to Florence to work for a chic, all-female web design house, come back to Britain when it all turns horribly pear-shaped, then become a technology leader at the HQ of a pan-European consortium in Paris.
