The two Cycle ride tours were absolutely fab ! what a great ideal with so much info and photos, its you and this kind of thing that makes the net what it is ! I will be cycling the Bristol/Bath Railway path & also the Bath/Bradford-on-avon soon in summer, a nice addition would have been some info on 'where to park' as i will be arriving in Bath in my mpv with Bike on board, Many thanks, i look forward to more Routes (dont be idle now !)

I use SudokuXP every day. I first input the newspaper's sudoku and solve it in a timed race with my wife. Then we run the Puzzle of the day, again in a timed race.

We both love the site. Thanks for making it available.

comment regarding remote pair chains :
i cannot understand the logic in solving remote pair chains as explained on page 91 of "mastering sudoku"

Paul's reply:
Hi Harvey - remote pair chains seem to be the pattern that gives most problems (and perhaps I didn't explain them well enough!). Anyway, there's a more comprehensive explanation, which works through the logic of pair chains, at http://www.paulspages.co.uk/sudokuxp/howtosolve/#h-remotepairs

Hope that helps - Paul

I've been working some of your puzzles but today I stumbled onto your home (?) page ...uk and read your none-weblog stuff. Smiled the whole way through. Love the way you look at life and the way you share it.
Keep up the great work!

I like your pages. I digested the early "how to" pages and these have served me in good stead ever since.

I now mostly use the site to check "stuck" puzzles to ensure that they are not rogue ones.

Thank you
