How well do I do it?

What do I know? - Windows

The first Windows version I reviewed was 2.0, and I've reviewed every 16 and 16/32 bit version since, up to Win 98 last year. I attended three (count 'em) pre-launch Win 95 workshops in Seattle, so got to know the innards of the Memphis architecture pretty well (while the furore about whether there was a DOS underneath Win 95 was still going on, I had the opportunity to ask the head of the kernel team if there was - his reply was 'yes, of course there is!')

My NT experience is more limited, although I did review NT 4.0 workstation, and attended a Win 2000 reviewer's workshop in Seattle in April 1999 (incidentally, if anyone needs a freelance guide to Seattle, Bellevue and Redmond, just let me know).

Click 'Copy Sample' to check out my understanding of the Win 2000 product range.
